Alberta Women Homesteaders and Farmers Talk

Join us on Sunday, July 5 from 2:30-3:30pm for a talk with Sarah Carter on the lives of women homesteaders and farmers in Alberta. This talk will take a closer look at the challenges they faced, the opportunities they took on, and the role they played in shaping their communities, with stories of grit, growth, and perseverance along the way.

This talk is open to everyone, with both pre-registration and drop-in available.

Please note that for all of our events we require MINIMUM 48 HOURS NOTICE of a cancellation for a refund to be issued. If we are less than 48 hours away from an event and you are needing to cancel, please notify us so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Your payment for the event will then become a donation to Ellis Nature Centre. Thanks for your cooperation!
