Seniors Teas

Join us for a seniors tea on the last Thursday of every month from May to August! Featuring hommade goodies, coffee, and tea!

Join us for Senior’s Tea on the last Thursday of each month from May to August — May 28, June 25, July 30, and August 27 – from 1:30–3:00 pm.

These relaxed afternoon gatherings are hosted by the Ellis Nature Centre team with the help of our volunteers. Guests are invited to enjoy a short site walk or explore interactive displays, such as Mountain Bluebird or Purple Martin nest boxes, before settling in at outdoor tables for treats, tea and coffee.

Tickets are $10 per person. Participants can call to reserve a spot for any of the dates.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that for all of our events we require MINIMUM 48 HOURS NOTICE of a cancellation for a refund to be issued. If we are less than 48 hours away from an event and you are needing to cancel, please notify us so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Your payment for the event will then become a donation to Ellis Nature Centre. Thanks for your cooperation!

Dandelion Salve Making

Make a dandelion salve, excellent for relieving sore muscles and joints, with plants harvested at Ellis Nature Centre. Make salve at the workshop and take more dandelion home to do it on your own!
