Spring 2026 School Program

We are so excited to announce our 2026 K-6 school program, running in May & June! Join us for an ultimate nature learning experience focused on Species & Land right here in Central Alberta. Students are sure to leave buzzing with excitement about the natural world around them!

Thank you for the incredible response to our 2026 spring school program! Registration is now closed and we will not be accepting anymore groups.

Option 1: Wetland Exploration

Join us for a 2 or 4 hour program to experience all that Ellis Nature Centre has to offer! Choose from the Species or Land Program.

Programs run Tuesday to Friday, from May 12th to June 26th. Please fill out the registration form located to the right. The form MUST have all of the information fields filled out to be processed. Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

**Please note that groups of more than 75 students cannot be accommodated and will need to be split into two separate days.

  • Thursday May 14: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Friday May 15: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm; 45 students from 9:30-11:30am
  • Tuesday May 19: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Thursday May 21: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Friday May 22: 15 students from 9:30am-11:30am
  • Tuesday May 26: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Wednesday May 27: 30 students from 12-2pm
  • Wednesday June 3: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Friday June 5: 30 students from 9:30-11:30am
  • Wednesday June 10: 30 students from 12-2pm
  • Thursday June 11: 30 students from 9:30-11:30am; 15 students from 12-2pm
  • Thursday June 18: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
  • Tuesday June 23: 15 students from 9:30am-2pm
