Intro to Gardening Workshop

Join us and Sharon Wiebe on Saturday, June 15 from 1-2pm for a FREE intro to gardening workshop!

In this workshop, Sharon will cover gardening basics such as no-till gardening, feeding insects in the garden, natural fertilizers, raised beds, starting plants inside, remediating tilled soil, the importance of pollinators, gardening hacks, barriers for pests, and handy tools. If you’re just starting your gardening journey or looking to refresh your skills, this is the workshop for you! While the event is free, we encourage pre-registration to ensure the workshop will run.

Please note that for all of our events we require MINIMUM 48 HOURS NOTICE of a cancellation for a refund to be issued. If we are less than 48 hours away from an event and you are needing to cancel, please notify us so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Your payment for the event will then become a donation to Ellis Nature Centre. Thanks for your cooperation!
