As part of Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, December 3, we are looking for donations to help us cover the operating costs for our live owl camera in 2025! The owl camera features a Great Horned Owl nest, which our resident owls Ellie & Albert return to each nesting season. They’ve had several successful nesting seasons and have raised many Great Horned Owl young on our site. This owl camera allows an inside view into the nesting process, from choosing the site, to laying eggs, watching the incubation period, seeing the eggs hatch, and of course keeping an eye on the young owlets as they grow. Our owl camera has viewers from around the world and is perfect for anyone who loves owls as well as an educational experience for children. We’re fundraising $2,000, which will help us cover the cost of the internet required to run the camera from approximately January-May. The owl camera is live 24/7 from the time we notice owl activity around the nest to when the final owlet fledges.
