Join us for an afternoon of butterfly counting to assist Citizen Science.
Workshop Butterfly Count Training

Join Dr. Delano Lewis’s Butterfly Species Count project at Ellis Nature Centre. Dr. Lewis from Burman University is reaching out to Central Albertans to assist in this Citizen Science project. The training session will help you learn how to identify butterflies and conduct the butterfly counts. Butterfly count volunteers will conduct 1 hour butterfly counts throughout the summer at ENC, adding essential data to this multi-year project.

Training sessions are free and refreshments will be served.
