Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day by joining us for a morning of birding on the Ellis Nature Centre site.

Migratory Bird Day is coming up on May 10, and we have decided to open up our site early to celebrate! Join us on Saturday May 10 from 8am-10am for a morning of birding on the Ellis Nature Centre site. This will be an opportunity to celebrate the return of our migratory birds for the summer. Folks can bird on our site and participate in a small selection of birding activities. No registration is required and we are operating on admission by donation.

Cost: Admission by donation (our suggested donation is $5 per person or $15 per family)

No registration required, simply drop in!

Help us harvest honey from our honey bee hives, and learn all about honey bees in the process!
Come learn all about American Kestrels, North America's smallest raptors from Strix Ecological, a team dedicated to finding out more about these birds! We'll also look for other hawks & raptors on our site.
Come explore water with Ellis Nature Centre as part of Alberta Open Farm Days!
Join the fine folks of Bird Dreams for a Beginner Birding Workshop on Sunday June 1, where you'll learn lots of information about ID!
