Hawks & Raptors Presentation

Come learn all about American Kestrels, North America's smallest raptors from Strix Ecological, a team dedicated to finding out more about these birds! We'll also look for other hawks & raptors on our site.

Join us on Sunday, October 4 from 1-3pm to learn all about American Kestrels, North America’s smallest raptors! Strix Ecological will be presenting about their research with Kestrels, giving folks an overview of Kestrels, their work with them, and the data they’ve collected so far. After this presentation, we will lead folks out by the farm fields to look for hawks and raptors on our site. All ages are welcome, the ability to walk on uneven and unpaved surfaces is a must for the walking portion of this event.

Please note that for all of our events we require MINIMUM 48 HOURS NOTICE of a cancellation for a refund to be issued. If we are less than 48 hours away from an event and you are needing to cancel, please notify us so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Your payment for the event will then become a donation to Ellis Nature Centre. Thanks for your cooperation!
