Hawks & Raptors Presentation

Join us on Saturday, August 2 from 1-3pm to learn all about American Kestrels, North America’s smallest raptors! Strix Ecological will be presenting about their research with Kestrels, giving folks an overview of Kestrels, their work with them, and the data they’ve collected so far. After this presentation, we will lead folks out by the farm fields to look for hawks and raptors on our site. All ages are welcome, the ability to walk on uneven and unpaved surfaces is a must for the walking portion of this event.
