Voices of the Land – AB Culture Days

Join us for indigenous teachings as part of Alberta culture days! We'll have live ceremonies, teachings, storytime, and free lunch!

Join us on Saturday and Sunday, September 12 & 13, for a day of tours, teachings, and traditional knowledge as a part of Alberta Culture Days! We’ll be hosting a variety of Indigenous activities on our site, including an opening ceremony, Tipi Teachings, and free bannock as a mid-day snack. Join us as our indigenous partners, Elder Dean, Charlene and Russel Burns, Orlean Lizotte, Linda Ophus, and Clare Butterfly share their knowledge!

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that for all of our events we require MINIMUM 48 HOURS NOTICE of a cancellation for a refund to be issued. If we are less than 48 hours away from an event and you are needing to cancel, please notify us so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Your payment for the event will then become a donation to Ellis Nature Centre. Thanks for your cooperation!
