2026 Canada Day Festivities

Make Ellis Nature Centre a part of your Canada Day celebrations!

Join us on July 1, Canada Day, from 10:00am – 4:00pm At the Ellis Nature Centre where you can spend the day walking around the site while taking part in our classic lawn games, site-wide trivia, facepainting, animal crafts, and our always popular Chicken Poop Bingo, along with our Canada Day G. O. A. T. photo booth.

Throughout the day, you can join guided bird walks, check out our Buzzing Biodiversity Pollinator Project, and participate in our honeybee workshops to learn more about the pollinators around us.

And lastly, you will get to meet Amy Mawson with Farm Strong as she is bringing Katie, the miniature pony for a meet and greet, family photos, and interactive education moments that focus on animal communication confidence, and connection.

See you there!
