Discover how to make your garden more wildlife friendly, including design of the garden, key features, and plant selection. This will include a tour of the Ellis Nature Centre gardens.

Join Ellis Nature Centre staff on Sunday, May 25 from 11am-12pm to learn about how to create a wildlife friendly garden! This workshop will take you around the gardens at Ellis Nature Centre to learn about key features that support wildlife, selecting plants, and overall garden design. If you want to make sure that your garden helps animals, birds, insects, and pollinators, then this is the workshop for you. This event is free, but pre-registration is appreciated as there are only 25 spots available!

Make a dandelion salve, excellent for relieving sore muscles and joints, with plants harvested at Ellis Nature Centre. Make salve at the workshop and take more dandelion home to do it on your own!

Paint your own birdhouse to look like birch trees under the guidance of ENC staff.
