Come learn all about mushrooms found at Ellis Nature Centre with Martin Osis on Monday, August 4 from 1-3pm. Martin is a member of the Alberta Mycological Society and he’ll be sharing his knowledge of mushrooms found in Central Alberta, field identification of wild mushrooms, forest ecology, and medicinal and toxicological properties of wild mushrooms. If you’re just entering the world of mushrooms and want to learn more about identification and general properties, this is the event for you. The ability to walk & stand for the full 2 hours is a must. The fee for this walk is $15 per person and all ages are welcome.
